Imbalance in metals homeostasis leads to several problems for the human health. From a systemic biology perspective, our research line has been focused in understanding how changes in bioavailability of metals alter the organism. Our laboratory is a pioneer in research of System Biology and Metals. We have published several articles in this field, developing new protocols in terms of transcriptional regulatory networks construction and metal metabolism analysis.
