En nuestro laboratorio investigamos los mecanismos moleculares encargados de establecer la homeostasis iónica, redox y metabólica en células vivas. Nuestro enfoque experimental consiste en monitorear cambios en la fluorescencia de biosensores y sondas que nos informan de fluctuaciones en parámetros intracelulares que describen la actividad celular. Bajo esta modalidad podemos conocer el impacto biológico de compuestos dietarios no solo en células vivas sino que también en arreglos celulares que se comportan como una barrear intestinal.
